I wore this out to a friend's art opening.  I have a feeling that the neon trend is going to over soon, which is too bad, because I love this dress and hope I get a chance to wear it again.

Purple People Eater

Okay, that blog title has nothing to do with this post, except that the dress is purple.  I guess I'm running out of ideas for titles, too.  A friend of mine had this dress and I liked it so much I went out and bought one for myself.  They were out of my size and it's a little too big, but at $14.99, you can't beat the price, so I got it anyway.  I just have to wear something underneath (here, a cami) if I don't want to show way to much cleavage.

Way Too Frickin' Hot

So it's been way too hot in L.A. lately.  It's been hot in most of the rest of the country too, but we're the only ones that matter.  Haha.  This dress is a light and pretty and kept me as cool as possible in almost hundred degree heat.  I threw a sweater over it and wore it to work.

I'm Scruffles and I approved this bag.  I still find it boring, though.

We tried to put Punky in the bag, but she did not like it.

I swear, I am not a dog torturer you guys.

Gap & WhoWhatWear Styld.by Event

A friend and I went to this Gap event at the Grove.  They served hors d'oevres and fancy drinks like watermelon margaritas.  There was a band AND a DJ.  Unfortunately, most of the pictures didn't turn out very well, because apparently I can't use my own camera and am lost without Patty, but here are a few of them.

Flowers & Stuff

This is one of my favorite skirts.  I love the color and the print.  It's not the most summery skirt (it seems more spring to me), but I sit around in a freezing cold air conditioned office most days, so it doesn't really matter to me.

Ombre Lace

I've always loved ombre and lace, so when I saw this dress I immediately fell in love with it.  I wore it with a white cardigan for work, but I think it would also look really cute with a denim jacket and Converse All Stars.

She hates being picked up.
