Pretty in Flowery Pink

This is a really old skirt that I just threw on in a hurry.  The outfit actually turned out really cute.  One thing I'm discovering from this experiment is that I don't really have any desire to wear most of my old skirts.  I think a lot of them will be going bye bye at the end of the year.

I think Scruffles just did something gross.  That happens a lot.

We decided to use treats to get Scruffles to look at the camera.  Usually, we just take a bunch of shots and in half of them she's blurry or looking away.  It actually worked and we got this cute shot.  Later she threw up.

Colored Lace

Apparently, I am also addicted to lace.  I love the contrast of the colored lace over the black fabric.  I must have been in a hurry this day, because I forgot to accessorize.  I would've preferred to wear higher heels, but I wasn't sure how far I would have to walk (was going to a job interview).

Gap & WhoWhatWear Styld.by Event

A friend and I went to this Gap event at the Grove.  They served hors d'oevres and fancy drinks like watermelon margaritas.  There was a band AND a DJ.  Unfortunately, most of the pictures didn't turn out very well, because apparently I can't use my own camera and am lost without Patty, but here are a few of them.

Bronze Goddess

When I told someone this skirt was from Express, they told me that I should lie and say that it's Armani or something really nice.  To that I say, "Good job Express!"  Also, this is one of my favorite necklaces.  It looks like little knives.  What's not to like?

I love the sequined pattern on this skirt and the way the bracelet coordinates with it.

Simplicity is Beautiful

So this is basically just a black tank top with jeans, but the tank has some surprise lace back.  I think the simple silver bangles complement it well.

The visible bra straps are a conscious choice.  And also I hate wearing strapless bras.

I think I have dog hair all over my shirt.  Hawt!
