Summer's Ending...

So it's unofficially the last weekend of summer.  (I say unofficial, because the first day of fall is not until September 22nd.)  I shouldn't complain, it'll probably stay hot here for at least another two months.  However, I keep hearing people say how much they're looking forward to fall.  I am not.  And it's for the most shallow of reasons--I like my summer clothes way better than my fall clothes.  I also don't feel like I've worn nearly enough of them.  I have way too many sundresses.  I would much rather wear a comfy, easy dress than a sweater.  And I hate wearing tights.  So I'm trying to wear as many dresses as I can before the weather turns.

Herb Ritts at the Getty Center

My friend Lauren and I went to the Getty Center last weekend to check out the Herb Ritts exhibit.  We weren't sure if we were allowed to take pictures of the photographs, so we didn't.  I guess we weren't feeling very rebellious that day.  The Getty also has some beautiful gardens, so I did take pictures of those.

Lauren let me borrow her hat, since it matched my outfit.  Between the hat and the sunglasses, I felt very vampy.

When you first walk up to the Getty, you are greeted by this naked boy holding a weed.  At first I thought he was holding a rat or a frog.

Lady in Red

Wore this to an barbecue and deep frying party.  My mother will tell that she thinks I look good in red.  The dress is loose fitting, so it's comfortable if you eat too much, which was pretty important for this party.

Old Dog, New Tricks

So I've worn all of these pieces on the blog before (except the bracelet), but not together.  It doesn't really forward my goal of wearing everything in my closet, but it's a cute outfit.  And sometimes you just wanna wear what you wanna wear.  I also wore the dress in this post.
