In which I wear a little kid's shirt...

The Harajuku Minis line at Target is so adorable, that I could not resist this mermaid shirt.  I was too embarrassed to try it on, so I just bought the largest size and brought it home.  Lo and behold, it actually fit.  The only problem was that it was kind of short and I'm not into flashing my belly button, so I layered a tank under it.

If I didn't already love the front of the shirt, the back would've sold me on it.

Yeah, these shoes are really old.  I'm not rich, people!

I honestly have no idea when or where I got these boots, or what brand they are.  This is rare for me.  I have an excellent memory for useless facts.

It [Was] Friday, Friday!

My intrepid photographer was out, so I had to take these photos myself, a first for this blog and this camera.  As such, Scruffles refused to make a cameo.  I'm not professional enough for her, I guess.  Anyway, I forgot that I owned this shirt.  It's not even old.  So in that aspect, this blog has already been successful.

I don't know what I'm rolling my eyes at.  The inability to take a decent picture by myself?

Karaoke Birthday Party!

I wasn't sure about the tights with this dress, but I didn't want to freeze my legs off.  It actually does get cold at night here in L.A.  I like the way the black tights contrast with the shoes, though.  The zipper on the back of the dress goes all the way down to the bottom.  You can put it on like a (backwards) coat!

Book Swap

I wore this to a book swap in Los Feliz.

I liked this Missoni for Target print so much, that I also got the bed spread.  Now my bed spread and I can match.  The jeans are one of my favorite pairs.  They're from Express and are really old.  I wish I could just buy a bunch of pairs exactly like them, but they don't make them anymore.  I'll probably just wear them until the small hole in the back becomes huge, and then I'll be sad.

I have no idea what's goin' on.

First Real Post! Web Series Premiere!

One thing I didn't take into account when I started this blog, was that I would have to model these outfits.  A model I am not. It's a learning curve, so bear with me.  Last night, I attended the premiere of season 2 of my friend Seth Coltan's new web series, ObSETHed.  It's a very funny series about a clueless Hollywood actor.  You can see it at http://www.obsethed.net/.
